The Sad State of DA
So, like a lot of people who have been here a long time, I too am stepping back from DA. As many have probably noticed, I haven't posted or updated anything here in ages. The loss of the stash writer tool made cross posting my writing a pain, and the rise of AI scraping has made me very wary to post art here. That doesn't mean I haven't been up to anything in the past couple years. I've recently begun writing a Resident Evil 4 Remake fanfic, and I'm working on a few Trigun fics as well. I've also been chipping away at my original novel ideas. I've been drawing more too, little sketchbook doodles and such. I've been creating, just not sharing it here. Do I have any active watchers at this point? It says I have 1687, but lets be real, if I went through those I bet over half of them are dead accounts by now, or deactivated.
I was gifted a brief subscription by a watcher and with it I ran a poll for what Homestuck AU I should finish. Of course Still the Same took top spot, as I figured it would, and second place was Wings of a Worthless God, if I remember correctly.
So here's the deal.
I promise, right here and now, to finish Still the Same and Wings of a Worthless God. It might take a year, but I'll do it. Consider all the other AU's on official hiatus
2015 Year in Review
It's that time again, to write a boring journal about what I did this year and what I thought about it.
This was a pretty interesting year, because I did so much, I think at least.
I started off the year working, only to leave that job and go on vacation to Germany for two weeks. That trip was really, really fun and eye opening for me. I had never been out of the country before so to be out of my comfort zone for a while was actually an interesting experience.
Then right after that I moved out and into my own apartment near campus and started going to school again. Living alone was refreshing, though I do miss some amount of human contac
Fanfiction Update
It's been a while since my last formal update on here.
I'll be surprised if I still have active readers left.
So, I think the question on almost everyone's mind is, "when are you going to stop writing that Outlast fic and start writing Homestuck again?"
And that's a fair question. It's been a long while since my last Homestuck fic update. Over two years for some of my AU's like Worth the Kill? and Repairing the Damage. So a while back I had serious writers block, and during that time I stopped actively updating, when I did get my spark back it was for a different fandom. Though I didn't go anywhere with my Welcome to Night Vale work it did
